Debbie shares her experience as both a foster parent and step-parent, and also discusses some key lessons she has learned - especially working with older foster youth - that she has captured in her book, Raising Other People's Children.

Sarah and Lynn talk about Dawson Promise's services supporting youth aging out of care throughout their time as a student at the community college, which includes assistance applying to the college and for financial aid, a summer bridge program before their first year, academic and mental health support, and other services to ensure student success.
